Farrell Family Shoot

Yes... I've been bad again - but I ALWAYS say that don't I???

My life really is busier than I ever thought it could ever become - just mindblowing some days! But we manage, and my little man is growing bigger and stronger every day - teaching me how to be the best mom.

I have been so busy with photo shoots, but haven't uploaded any of them (for over 3 weeks...). So I thought I would start with the Farrell Family.

The Farrell Family was a delight to photograph! I think their boys are absolutely adorable!!! With a capital A! I hope that I get to see more of them as the years go by!

Luci, Brent & Angelique

I LOVE photo shoots like this!

I first met Luci and Brent when they were pregnant with little Angelique, and then, when Angelique was born I photographed them all as a new family!

Now, Angelique is a little over a year old and as cute as a button! I can't believe how she's grown and Luci & Brent are just smitten with their little one!

I hope that you can see, through these photos, what an independent little girl Angelique is - very determined, inquisitive and focussed!

I hope I get to see this beautiful family more over the coming years!

de Klerk Family Shoot

I have been bad...

I have not updated my blog in what feels like ages! I haven't forgotten about it, I promise! I have just had a couple of very busy weeks.

I have worked so hard, but I feel as satisfied as hot hippo in cool muddy pool! I know that my hard work will pay off and it will eventually mean that I can spend so much more time with my little boy!

So here is one my more recent photo shoots - the de Klerk family. I was particularly taken by Daniel, their beautiful little boy! He was very shy at first, but soon I was getting amazing pictures of him - what an angelic little boy! Thank you Mia, for choosing me to take these pictures of your family and of your son!

Debbie & Jean

Debbie and Jean were a pleasure to photograph! Both of them were quite worried in front of the camera, but I explained that I hardly ever photograph people who are 'used to' being photographed! My clients are every-day people and my job is to capture their essence, their true nature.

Well, I must say that I so happy with the photographs that I managed to capture of Debbie and Jean - it was in those 'nervous' times that we would all end up laughing and then 'viola' the picture would be perfect!

I will be meeting their little baby soon for a Newborn Shoot - I can't wait!

Lisa & Dale

I was so happy to photograph Lisa and Dale - they are expecting their first baby (a beautiful little boy called Cole)! I know that they have had quite a journey thus far and becoming parents is a dream come true for them!

I think that their happiness and love for each other and for Cole just shines through!

Rystwej Family Shoot

I have been a really busy body these past few weeks!

April, with all it's public holidays, has brought me much relief from working too hard - and at the same time I have relaxed maybe a bit too much (or at least as much as is possible with a 9-month old around)!

Here are some of my favourite photos of the Rystwej family - all I can say is that they absolutely adore their son! It is very rare to find a dad who is so enthralled by his son that he hardly notices that I'm there!! I loved it!

Although I know that the Rystwej's have photos taken regularly, I hope that a morning at the Irene Dairy has given them something new and different!

Beautiful Lee

I don't think I've ever photographed a more beautiful girl. Lee's eyes speak volumes - I just don't think that words can suffice.
